Dear
Summer is here on the Côte d’Azur and events are hotting up: celebrating with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II at the 15th anniversary party of the Riviera-Côte d´Azur Zeitung and The Riviera Times and the official launch of the Riviera A-Z guide – are just two of the news items we have in store for you this month...
- 15th and 5th Anniversary June 12th
Monaco’s Sovereign Prince Albert II, several international VIPs and over 400 guests joined Mediterraneum Editions at the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel in Monaco for the double anniversary of the Riviera-Côte d´Azur Zeitung and The Riviera Times.
Superb facilities, excellent service from the Fairmont Hotel’s staff and a little help from the weatherman, ensured the evening was a great success.
Petra Hall, who founded the Riviera-Côte d’Azur Zeitung, gave a short speech. She personally thanked the Prince for “the spirit of openness which makes Monaco so unique” in the way it welcomes more than 140 nationalities. The Prince replied in German and English to wish the company well for the future.
The party was sponsored by Lloyds TSB International Private Banking Monaco, KB Luxembourg (Monaco) and the Chambre de Développement Économique de Monaco.
The profit of the tombola went to the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies.
L-R: Franck Biancheri, President of the Chambre de Développement Economique in Monaco; Axel Hartmann, German General Consul, Milan; HSH Prince Albert II; Petra Hall; Mario Polverini, Italian Ambassador in Monaco; Gerd Ziegenfeuter, German Honorary Consul in Nice; Michel Failletaz, Swiss General Consul, Marseille; Paul-Marie Jacques, CEO of KB Luxembourg
What a team! They are sometimes called the club of amazones (in the best sense of the word) but there are good men too.

- ADVERTISING SPECIAL AUGUST 2007
Living in this beautiful region between Marseille, Monaco and Genova is a dream for many of our readers. Getting here, without the nightmare of lost or damaged inventories is the topic of our next advertising special.
In the August issues, we give ideas and solid information, not only on how to organise transport and make modifications to a new house, but also about all the formalities necessary for visitors who want to become residents.
If your company works in transport or a similar business, you should not miss out on this opportunity to communicate your services. And to ensure you get optimum value, we have a special package price for our clients who advertise in this feature: buy 2 and get 3 adverts. This means for example if you place an ad in the English and German papers the same ad will appear for free in the Italian paper. For further details please contact: Dominique at d.husken@mediterra.com
- New partnership for 200th Birthday of Garibaldi
Il Corriere della Costa Azzurra and the “Committee of Bicentaire Garibaldi,” are working together to support events planned for the next 12 months such as concerts, exhibitions etc. It all starts on the 4th July: In the French-Italian village on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice visitors can pick up their free copy of Il Corriere della Costa Azzurra. The anniversary events will continue until July 2008. For further information: www.nice-garibaldi.org
- Collaboration with the Group Express, Paris
The Editor of the decoration magazine Maisons Coté Sud and Mediterraneum Editions worked together on a project: the Salon Vivre Côté Sud in Aix-en-Provence, which was on from 8th to 11th June.
The French publisher successfully communicated its message to the foreign readers of our three newspapers. Mediterraneum Editions took the opportunity to advertise their expertise in the market as the Number One media for foreigners in the South of France, Monaco and the Italian Riviera. All three papers were also distributed at the show, and many readers dropped in to win the free tickets.
