Dear
with the spring festivals in full swing, we are here again to update you on news of what’s happening on the sunny Riviera this month and at Mediterraneum Editions:
- RIVIERA A-Z
The
very first guide in English, German, Italian and Russian, RIVIERA A-Z, is now
online. Visit www.riviera-a-z.com and communicate your business to an
international and very wealthy audience. Don‘t miss this opportunity!
Mediterraneum
Editions participates in partnership with the town of Ventimiglia in the Borsa
internazionale del turismo (BIT) in Milan.
The BIT is one of the most important European tourism fairs and takes place from the 22nd to the 25th February 2007.
Across an area of 60,000 sqm there will be 5,000 exhibitors, expecting around 150,000
visitors. (http://bit.expocts.it)

At
the end of every January as part of the friendship between France and Germany,
a "Journée franco-allemande" takes place. Official educational
institutions, teachers and students meet for cultural exchanges all over the
country. In Antibes, journalists of the Riviera-Côte
d‘Azur Zeitung were among those personalities in the department who were
invited to take part. The Riviera-Côte
d‘Azur Zeitung is the only independent newspaper in German throughout
France.
Note
too that all those who are teaching German (or English or Italian) in the schools of the
Alpes-Maritimes or the Var, can apply to receive a free subscription so they
can utilise the three papers in their work.
So for those who
do opt for the German language, it can be very successful, as
was demonstrated by a group of students from the in Valbonne: they performed the theatre play
of Saint Martin on stage in French and German - and they did it perfectly
(see picture)!
